Is Sara Elizabeth skincare cruelty free?

In order to ensure that a brand is completely cruelty free, doesn’t test on animals at any point during the production of their products, I reach out to them through email. Here is my email exchange with Sara Elizabeth Skincare…

Good afternoon,

Hope you’re having a good weekend. I’m Svetlana, the founder of Ethical Bunny – a website that provides conscious consumers with cruelty free resources and supports ethical companies. I came across Sara Elizabeth on the USA Love List article (https://bit.ly/2Kb4kaG) and I was wondering if your brand is, in fact, cruelty free. I just have a couple questions…

  1. Are any of your finished products or individual ingredients tested on animals?
  2. Do you have a Leaping Bunny, CCF or PETA certification?
  3. Are your products sold in mainland China where animal testing is required by law?
  4. Do your suppliers or any third parties test on animals on your behalf?
  5. Additionally, are any or all of your products completely vegan?

I ask these questions of every single one of over 300 brands currently listed on our website. Sorry if they sound repetitive or you already have answers to these questions on your website. These questions allow me to personally ensure the validity of a company’s cruelty free status. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you so much for your time!
