Is Redmond cruelty free?

Is Redmond cruelty free?

In order to ensure that a brand is completely cruelty free, doesn’t test on animals at any point during the production of their products, I reach out to them through email. Here is my email exchange with Redmond…

Good morning,

I’m Svetlana, the founder of Ethical Bunny – a website that features cruelty free brands and advocates for animal rights. I recently stumbled upon Remond and I would love to include your brand on our cruelty free brand list. Would you mind answering a couple questions?

  1. Are your finished products or individual ingredients tested on animals?
  2. Do you have a Leaping Bunny, CCF or PETA certification?
  3. Do you ensure that your suppliers (and any third parties involved in production) do not test on animals?
  4. Are your products sold in any retail locations in mainland China where animal testing is required by law?
  5. Additionally, are any of your products completely vegan?

Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time!

Here is their response:

Redmond Earthpaste plant based toothpaste and personal dental care is not yet peta or leaping bunny certified. Available at Whole Foods or on Amazon. | Ethical Bunny's cruelty free and vegan brand list with skincare, makeup, haircare, hygiene, bath and body guides. I have concluded that Redmond is, in fact, cruelty free and it has been added to our database of cruelty free brands. Their products may also be featured in our shopping guides. If you have any further questions or would like to check out their products, visit their website.
